Educational plan

Overview

In the first semester of the first year, you will attend courses desiged to provide you with additional knowledge lacking in your background, so that the subsequent courses can be followed by all students regardless of their previous studies.

Aligment plans

  • Alignment plan 1: If you graduated in computer science, mathematics, or similar, you will study cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics (campus Citta Studi Unimi)
  • Alignment plan 2: if you graduated in biology/biotecnology you will follow classes on computer science, programming, data bases, and statistics (campus Leonardo Polimi)

You will also have 12 ECTS that you will be free to spend following elective courses during the 2nd year, chosen among those organized by this Degree (to appear soon added to the following table), or other Master Degree programs of the University of Milano or the Politecnico of Milano.

Courses of the 2nd year will be activated starting from the academic year 2020-2021. Starting from the 2nd semester of the second year you will attend a research laboratory for a thesis internship.

In the following table, 1 ECTS = 8 hours of classes.
